THE EARLY YEARS

Eric Lloyd entered the acting world at 1 year old, first taking the screen on an IBM computer commercial. As he grew older, he captured the hearts of America with everyone’s favorite bowl cut in his more well-known roles as Charlie Calvin in “The Santa Clause”, Kyle Grant opposite orangutans and Jason Alexander in “Dunston Checks In”, and young Thomas Reilly, adult role played by Robert Downey Jr in “Heart and Souls”.

THE CRATE
During his teenage years, Eric expanded his creativity to include his passion for music, establishing his first music studio in a shipping container known by his classmates as "The Crate". Eric's first band Conflict Conveyed Through Audio used The Crate for practice, and eventually, held performances that included other local bands. Through the years, The Crate evolved, as did Eric's involvement in music production. He produced his first music video at 18 (Cadence) and recorded his first album for CCTA when he was 21 years old, in his shipping container studio. By following his passion for music into production, he returned to his film roots and segued behind the camera.

AFTER ACTING
After completing "The Santa Clause" Trilogy, Eric graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in Film Production and worked on production for feature films ("Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2", "Hijacked") and on-location Sound and Video for live music events ("Polyrhythmic: Live", "Spirit Fingers: Live"). Eric's professional skills grew to include Post Production for both film and music - specializing in videography, editing, color correction, production sound mixing, post production audio design and audio mixing for the film world; and production, tracking, and mixing for music professionals.

ABOUT LP STUDIOS

Eric established LP Studios in 2014 to provide production and post production services for both the film and music industries.

Seeing an opportunity to better serve all of his clientele and yet again tap into his creativity, Eric built and designed the first location to contain a cyc-wall sound stage/green screen, as well as multiple recording and post production suites. Eric built his brand over the years, hosting events for musical artists (Tiny Room, NAM Jam), concerts/band showcases (Dream Salon by Hello Forever), jam sessions (the JammJam, Jammcard), and promotional events (sponsored by Revel Tequila, Glen Livet, Bitchin Sauce).

After ending the 5-year lease at the first location in 2019, 2020 was spent adjusting to life in a pandemic. Eric built Glen Rock Studio, transforming a detached studio in the backyard into an eclectic production space, and was able to work remotely during quarantine. In 2021, an opportunity arose to lease a building in the creative hub of Frogtown in Los Angeles; and Eric went back into build mode. The Frogtown location has the same signature aesthetic that visitors recognize and Lloyd Production Studios continues to produce content that clients can trust. The new location's doors officially opened in 2022.
